NEW - Covid-19 Policy for Anthrocon 2023

As of January 24th 2023, the Anthrocon Board of Directors has re-instated the COVID-19 policy for attending Anthrocon 2023. You can find the 2023 policy, which has some slight changes compared to last year’s, on our COVID-19 Policy page.

NEW - Hotel Booking Registration Policy

You must be registered for Anthrocon in order to reserve an Anthrocon-block hotel room. For those who register before January 30, 2023, an email will be sent out when general hotel reservations open containing the link needed to reserve a hotel room. If you register after February 2, 2023, the link needed to reserve a hotel room will be included in the confirmation email. For more details on process, refer to our Hotels page.

NEW - Registration Closure for Advance Hotel Booking

Registration for Anthrocon 2023 will be closing during the Advance Supersponsor Hotel Reservation period. Registration will close on January 29, 2023 at 11:59PM EST and re-open on February 2, 2023 at 11:00AM EST. The reopening of registration is scheduled to coincide with the opening of hotel reservations.

NEW - Supersponsors only available pre-registration

In order to ensure we accurately meet the increased demand for Supersponsor perks and benefits, we are offering a limited number of Supersponsor memberships during online pre-registration only. They will not be available after pre-registration closes. Don’t miss out on picking one up!

There are several levels and types of memberships from which you can choose. We recommend registering earlier as you’ll save some money, and get in on some advance perks (depending on your level). The key dates for registration are:

• Early Bird pre-registration: November 1, 2022 - January 29, 2023

• Regular pre-registration: February 2, 2023 - June 11, 2023

• On-site registration: June 29, 2023 - July 2, 2023

Registering as a minor?

If you will be a minor at Anthrocon (under the age of 18 by June 30, 2023), you will need to complete a Minor Consent form to pick up your registration.

A Dealer membership allows a member all the benefits of an Attending membership, as well as the ability to purchase a Dealer Table, and admission to the Artists & Dealers Social on Friday night. Dealer+Sponsor and Dealer+Supersponsor memberships are also available, giving the benefits of Sponsor and Supersponsor levels to Dealers!

Dealers may purchase Dealer Assistant Badges with their table, or Dealer Assistants may purchase their own badges. Dealer Registration for 2023 requires a passcode, which is available on our Dealers page. Without this passcode, you will be unable to apply for a Dealer Membership or Table.

* Note for Sponsor, Supersponsor, and Ultrasponsor: A portion of this membership constitutesa donation to Anthrocon which, by law, is not tax-deductible and is not refundable if your registration is canceled. For more information, please see our refund policy.

** Note for Advance Hotel Reservations: The higher demand hotels (such as the Westin, Courtyard and the Drury) will have a number of rooms set aside for the general reservation opening. This is done to ensure that no hotel sells out completely before the general opening and to give all attendees a chance to reserve a room in the higher demand hotels. You may see a hotel sell out during the advanced reservation period but once again have rooms available during general reservations. For more information about available hotels, see our hotels page.

• A COVID-19 policy is in effect for Anthrocon 2023, which is mandatory for all Anthrocon attendees to abide by. For the full policy, please visit the 2023 COVID-19 Policy page.

• For all attendees aged 18 years and older, we require a government-issued photo ID so that we can make sure nobody other than you is trying to pick up your badge or register in your name. Anthrocon accepts the following as a single-form ID: USA or Canada Driver's License, USA or Canada State ID, USA Military ID, or a Passport.

  For minor attendees aged 13-17 years old, we prefer to have a government-issued photo ID as well. However, we do understand that not every minor (especially the younger ones) will have an ID. If you do not have any of the above, we still need something with your photo on it that will confirm your identity and your date of birth.Contact the Registration department at [emailprotected] [emailprotected]if you are unsure or need assistance in determining alternate forms of acceptable ID.

• There are multiple options for both adults and minors to get a state-issued photo ID. Please ensure that you have a valid form of ID to get your registration badge before the convention; if you need help, consult your state or province’s government services to see what options are available.

• Absolutely! All you need to do is click on the link that was emailed to you with your registration confirmation. It will take you to your registration summary, and you need only click "Sponsor" or "Supersponsor" at the top and then "Update My Info" at the bottom.

• If a person is unable to stand in line, for whatever reason, you are welcome to move to the front of the line. If you are unsure or uncomfortable about just doing that, you are welcome to find a staff member and we will escort you to the front of the line.

• We understand that circumstances may arise that prevent you from attending our convention. Requests for refunds must be received before the close of pre-registration. Requests for rollovers must be received before the Monday prior to the convention. For more information please visit ourrefund policy page.

• If your child is between the ages of 13 to 17, they do not require accompaniment within the convention space as long as they have a valid Minor badge (which requires the completion of a Minor Consent form). If you wish to accompany them, you will need to purchase a registration badge for yourself.

  Please note that children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times, whether they purchase a PUP badge or not. Pup badges include the price for the child only. Membership for the parent/guardian will need to be purchased separately.
